I meet with the Venetian ambassadors in Lyon and Uncle Marcolin. Then I parted ways with Marcolin and went to Paris, where I picked up my brother Abbe from Paris. Madame du Rumaine brings back her voice in bondage. Then I take d'Aranda to London. When I arrived in London, I was introduced to Madame Cornelis, whom I had been introduced to in court. I rent a furnished house, create a wide circle of acquaintances, learn the etiquette of the English language. Adventure in Ranelag is in english.
