Charlie Chan Carries On

Inspector Duff, a Scotland Yard detective and Chan's friend, follows the killer as he travels around the world; So far, the killings have taken place in London, France, Italy and Japan. While his ship is moored in Honolulu, he is shot and wounded by the detective's quarry; Although he survives, he is unable to continue the journey and is replaced by Chan instead.
