Coming Up For Air

The protagonist of this comic, George Bowling, is a middle life insurance salesman who lives in the ranks of an average British country with his wife and two children. One day, after making some money from the pond, he returns to the village where he grew up to catch carp in the pond he remembers from thirty years ago. Unfortunately, there is no pool, the village has changed beyond recognition, and the main event of his holiday is the accidental bombing of the RAF.
