Commodore Hornblower
by C. S. Forester
1812 and the fate of Europe are in the hands of the newly appointed Commander Hornblauer. Sent to the northern waters, the Hornblower would defend Britain's Baltic interests and halt the advance of Napoleon's empire into Sweden and Russia. \n\nFor the first time must fight the terrible Baltic weather; waterways covered with fog, snow and ice; overcoming Russian political and commercial intrigues; avoid the seductive charms of royal power and the deadly reach of murderers in the imperial court; and fight with enemy armies and French special soldiers. Since the fate of Europe is balanced on the edge of the knife, the responsibility lies on the shoulders of the Commander.
