Essays
by Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ralph Waldo Emerson was first known as an orator, but he turned many of his speeches into essays. This second book was first published in 1841 and includes the famous article "Self-Confidence". This book and its popular reception laid the foundation for Emerson's international fame, more than his contributions to date. (source: Wikipedia)
