Excursions
by Henry David Thoreau
The tours include the full text of Thoreau's nine most popular articles. These include his first article in The Natural History of Massachusetts, The Dial (a quarterly periodical edited by Margaret Fuller) and other well-known early works such as The Winter Walk and The Landlord. His later works include his famous essays The Walk, Autumn Shades, and Wild Apples, based on a lecture he gave during the 1859–1860 Concord High School season and posthumously published in the Atlantic Monthly.
