In the High Valley

Lionel Young and his sister Imogen made their way to the picturesque but remote High Valley in Colorado, leaving behind their hometown in Devoshire, England. Lionel wants to get a stake in Jeffrey Templestow's cattle business. Because of his prejudices about America and the American way of life, Imogen has a hard time adjusting to life there. Templestow's clover, now happily married and living in the High Valley, initially discovers that he and Imogen are trying very hard to get along. There are many events where we meet Rose Red again, hear from her cousin Helen and, of course, meet Katie again...
