When the entire state of Texas flew to a new planet more to their liking, New Texas was the result: a turbulent world where everyone gathers guns, and it's legal (if they deserve it) to shoot down politicians! But now these powerful and independent space pioneers are the targets of a vast alien race. The Sun League envoy on Lone Star Planet has the enviable task of convincing New Texans that a Srauff attack is imminent and dangerous. Unfortunately, it's common knowledge that the Srauffs descended from their canine ancestors — and a living Texan isn't about to be afraid of a talking dog! But if he can't get them moving and act quickly, he won't be alive, scared, or otherwise a Texan!
