Manalive
by G. K. Chesterton
Perhaps the easiest of all of Chesterton's "serious" works, we follow the crazy adventure of Innocent Smith in Manaliv. Innocent Smith is a man who follows orders but breaks all traditions, and in doing so, he shows us how absurd these contracts are. Follow him as he enters his own house and then have a terrible relationship with his own wife. Enjoy a picnic in the attic and then leave the house just for the sake of returning home. A joyful and inspiring book.
