Notebooks of Anton Chekhov

This volume consists of notes, themes and sketches for the works that Anton Chekhov intended to write and is characteristic of the methods of artistic production. Among his articles, a number of pages were found on a special cover with inscriptions: "Themes, thoughts, notes, fragments." Chekhov's wife, Madame L.O. Bıçakçı-Chekhov, is also the owner of the notebook with quotations that she liked, etc., in which she entered into separate subjects for her future work. The value that Chekhov attributed to this material can be judged from the fact that he copied most of it into a special copy book.
