Peter Pan

by J. M. Barrie

Peter Pan, a névolent boy who refuses to grow up, descends into a suitable middle-class Darling house in search of his shadow. Wendy befriends John and Michael and teaches them how to fly (with a little help from the fairy dust). He and Tinker Bell take them to Nikola Land, where they encounter Indians, Little Lost Children, pirates, and the monstrous Captain Hook. Unlike the cooked, sugary modern versions of Peter Pan, Barry's original classic is not only captivating, but also humorous, sophisticated, and surprising in a delightful way.
