The note reads, "Don't believe everything you hear." It is handwritten by Tom Cameron. Ruth realizes that Tom must be on a secret mission in German territory. "Stop!" was a sudden order. Soon, Ruth has an unlikely ally who knows about Tom. They hatch a brave plan that requires Ruth to enter enemy territory in disguise before Tom can be rescued.
