Soldiers Three

Soldiers Three is a collection of short stories by Rudyard Kipling. The three soldiers of the title are Leroyd, Mulvaney and Orteris, who were previously featured in the Plains Tales from the Hills collection. "Soldiers Three" and other stories consist of three episodes, each of which previously received a separate publication in 1888.
