When we hear that the work was written by an unknown person or persons under a household pseudonym, that it was part of a series that was simultaneously broadcast in newspaper comics, television, radio, and paperback cheese books, we feel safe, we can assume that the content will not only be forgotten, but something better for us to forget. But the rental business isn't always that terrible, really, or still wasn't there before. And when it comes to the book you're holding in your hands — first in Carey Rockwell's Tom Corbett series (whoever it is in real life) — this book is really pretty damn clean. This is the story of three young men who join the Sunguard to serve as space students (yes, really! the name the book gives them). It talks about the difficulties they faced and how they overcame the adversity. Clean stuff! Read it now!
