The Antichrist

by Friedrich Nietzsche

This work is both an unstoppable attack on Christianity and another explanation of Nietzsche's philosophy of the "will to power" strikingly presented in Zarathustra. Christianity, according to Nietzsche, defined "all that is weak, vile and immoral; he created the ideal out of hostility to all the self-preservation instincts of a powerful life. Nietzsche, on the contrary, defines the good as "everything that develops the sense of power, the desire for power, and the power itself in man. What's the problem?- All this is due to weakness. What is happiness? – The feeling that strength has increased – resistance has been overcome. Seeking to rethink the foundation of Western values by destroying what Nietzsche saw as the crippling influence of the Judeo-Christian tradition, the Dajjal proved to be very controversial and constantly stimulating for the next generation of philosophers.
