The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military thesis attributed to Sun Tzu, a high-ranking military general, strategist, and tactician. The text consists of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of the war. It is known that this was the last work on the military strategy and tactics of the time. He was the most famous and influential of China's seven military classics, and "for the past two thousand years it has remained the most important military study in Asia, known even by ordinary people by name."
