The Childerbridge Mystery

William Standerton, with his two children and a small fortune, returns to England, where he buys a house that is allegedly haunted. Soon after, William is killed by an old enema, and so we have a big secret to consider as his son James tries to figure out who killed him. The classic crime and mystery story, although lacking a depth found in more modern names, is still a great read.
