The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
by F. Scott Fitzgerald
"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is a short story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald about an aging man who, quite oppositely: he is born weak at the age of 70 and rejuvenates over the years. This faithful film adaptation of the graphic novel tells the story of Benjamin Button's numerous adventures: he falls in love with a woman who ages normally (causing these complications), starts a family and starts a successful business. In his later years, he visited Harvard as a student and played on the football team. When he's older, Benjamin Button looks like a newborn baby. And then he didn't remember anything. He breathed through noon and night, and on top of him was a soft purring and purring that he could barely hear, weakly differentiated smells, light and darkness. Hollywood adaptation of the story starring Brad Pitt (as Benjamin Button), Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swenton and Julia Ormond, and directed by David Fincher (who also directed Pitt in The Fight Club and Seven)
