The Daffodil Mystery

Mr. Thomas Lin, poet, posing. and Lina, the owner of Emporium, insults cashier Odette Ryder, resigns. After inviting detective Jack Tarling to investigate another employee, Mr. Milburg, Lyne now changes his plans. Tarling and his Chinese friend refuse to intervene. They visit Odette's apartment. At the salon, Tarling meets Sam, a convicted criminal and Lyne's apprentice. The next morning, Tarling discovers the body. The arms were crossed on his chest, decorated with a handful of daffodils.
