The Ego Machine

Famed playwright Nicholas Martin didn't read the fine print on his Hollywood option contract. Now he faces an involuntary director of five years, named Raoul Saint-Cyr, who plays an incubation game about Portuguese fishermen and adds dancing mermaids. When the plot seems to have changed to include a robot from Nicholas' future, he loses all hope, but this robot may be exactly what he needs to gain his freedom.
