When Hopalong Cassidy's friend Johnny Nelson leaves Bar-20 and joins the CL farm in search of an even bigger adventure, he finds more than he was negotiating for. He found a hidden valley among twin butts with more than 200 CL cattle rebranded by QE. CL found a rustling gang to steal the rest of the beef. What he needed to find was a quick exit from that valley. But Hoppy never told him how to turn his tail and run away.
