Austin Gilroy, a psychology student, meets Mrs. Penclose, a cripple who allegedly possesses psychic abilities. After an experiment in persuasive power, Mrs. Penclosa Gilroy is convinced, and therefore begins to learn her unique skills. Unfortunately for Gilroy, Mrs. Penclose falls in love with him and begins to use his powers to make him love him.
