Wealthy young John Keton retrieves a mysterious block of inscribed stone from archaeological excavations in Mesopotamia. It proves that the carved image of an ancient ship with some strange features proves an analogue of reality in another dimension to which its earthly counterpart is magically attached, and between the worlds to which the earth model ship is conductive.
