The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse

It tells the story of two mice, Johnny Town Mouse and Timmy Willie. One is a mouse city, the other is a country mouse, and they discover that when they enter each other's worlds, they are much happier where they started. Based on Aesop's tale, Beatrix Potter takes this story to the Lake District. The city rat Johnny lives under the hardwood boards of a house in Hawkeshead, and the village rat Timmy Willey lives in the summer garden.
