The Time Stream
by John Taine
In the distant past or distant future, in the scientifically advanced world of Eos (which may just be the world), Cheryl claims the right to marry the man she loves, although genetic analysis shows that her children will have unwanted genes. But our story doesn't start here. It begins in the 20th century, on Earth. When Cheryl Ainsworth and her four friends enter the river of time as part of an experiment, they find themselves torn between time and space. Sometimes they are in Eos, sometimes on Earth, sometimes in nameless worlds. In all these worlds, Cheryl firmly defends her right to the man she loves.
