It is surprisingly interesting what exactly happened after the death of Louis XVII. Thanks to the various entries in Cardinal Beneventi's diary, we can trace the drama step by step, and from these fragments I got the freedom to create a coherent story - not the life story of the dauphin's own son, as it was unequal, known to a narrow but intensely loyal royalist circle as Louis XIX.
