Tom Swift and his Electric Runabout

Tom Swift enters the upcoming race in his specially designed prototype electric race car, but while making the final preparations and adjustments a few days before the race, he discovers a conspiracy that will bankrupt not only his family, but everyone who trusts the local bank (which is the purpose of a vile banking plan). Tom must solve the mystery and stop the criminals behind the conspiracy before testing himself in a 500-mile race against some of the best cars and skilled drivers in the United States.
