What Katie Made is a children's book written by Susan Coolidge. Katie is a tall, untidy boy who gets into trouble forever, but wants to be beautiful and loved. When a terrible accident cripples him, his illness and four years of recovery gradually teach him to be as good and kind as he always wants.
