Since the publication of Ernest Hemingway's first new fiction book, The Said to Arms, it has included fourteen stories of varying lengths. Some of them have appeared in magazines, but most have not been published before. The characters and backgrounds are very diverse. "Clean, well-lit place" about an old Spanish beggar. "A Tribute to Switzerland" refers to various speeches made in a Swiss train station restaurant. The "actress, the nun, and the radio" is placed in the emergency room of a hospital in the western United States. Ernest Hemingway began his literary career as a novelist writer. She has always been perfect in this environment and this skin reveals her best.
